Accessibility statement
Last updated: 23 October 2026
SHIELD wants everyone who looks after a fleet to be able to use this site, whatever they're using to read it and however they browse.
How the site is built
- It works on screens from a 320 pixel phone to a large monitor, and at 200 per cent zoom.
- Every page works with a keyboard, with the focus clearly shown on every link and field.
- Every page works with scripts switched off, the demo form included.
- Text and colours are set to meet the contrast levels in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and no text is smaller than 12 pixels.
- Every button, and every link on a line of its own, is at least 44 pixels across.
- The product screens are pictures, each with a description for screen readers.
- The film will have captions and a transcript on the page.
How well it meets the standard
SHIELD aims to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. The site was checked against it as it was built, on phones, tablets and desktops, with a keyboard and with scripts switched off. It hasn't yet had an independent audit.
What's known not to work fully
The product screens are drawn with demo data and shown as pictures, so a screen reader reads each one's description rather than every number and label on it.
Reporting a problem
If something on the site doesn't work for you, email hello@shieldmyfleet.com with the page and what happened, and SHIELD will look into it and reply.
Once we get SHIELD running on your systems, we guarantee regular Driver Influence messages within 90 days, or you can walk away.
